Today Chipotle canceled its sponsorship of a Utah Boy Scouts event because they “believed that terminating the sponsorship and remaining consistent with our policy was the right thing to do.”

This is a company with morals and values. Amazing when do something like this, it makes you appreciate them even more.

Bad Dad: 'Goodbye, Dad': Father Disowns Gay Son with Shockingly Heartless Letter(via @Gawker)

“5 years ago, I was disowned via letter when I came out to my father,” writes Redditor RegBarc. The letter in question arrived a week after RegBarc gave his dad the news over the phone.

It is heart wrenching that’s for sure, I’m also glad that Reg could tell his father via Reddit and other blogs like Gawker, “Fuck You” as he should fuck off. I don’t know how any parent could ever disown their child and call themselves a Christian and then in the same breathe preach its gospel. People will interpret the bible which way they like to justify their actions. I do love the ending with a dad with an adopted son who came out to him at age 15 had a complete difference of opinion and gave some amazing advice.

Reg Barc stand up straight and put that chin up high, you should be proud of yourself to come out and be who you want to be, even if your father doesn’t accept it. Just as long as you do that’s all that matters in the end.

Bad News for Westboro Baptist Church and Ah-mazeball news for the rest of America!

If you don’t remember who they are possibly because you’ve been hiding under rock and never heard of them. Let this be an introduction (and a lesson). Westboro Baptist Church is a group of extreme christians who picket funerals from celebrities to even American soldiers. They want to grab as much attention from the media as possible to send out their message.

What is that message you ask?

Well you know the typical, “God Hates Fags”, “Thank God For 9/11”, “Thank God For IEDs”, “God Hates Jews”, “America Is Doomed” and so you get the drift.

It seems they believe that since there are homosexuals on planet earth, we “allow” them to live their lives as such, and for most of us we accept them for who they are which then means we are all going to hell in a handbasket. Yup, you got it that is their message. It’s all about the homosexuals baby!

If this doesn’t help understand how primitive they are, it seems Westboro Baptist Church have said it themselves,

“The church describes itself as ‘Primitive Baptist’ and Calvinists principles”

But now we have some good news, so click on title and check it out for yourself.

Take That “God”!

"If I am dying from anything, I am dying from homophobia. If I am dying from anything I am dying from racism. If I am dying from anything its from indifference and red tape because these are the things that are preventing an end to this crisis. Someday the AIDS crisis will be over, remember that. And when that day comes, when that day has come and gone there will be people ALIVE on this earth. Gay people and straight people, men and women, black and white who will hear the story that once there was a terrible disease in this country and all over the world. And that a brave group of people stood up and fought and in some cases gave their lives so that other people might live."

Vito Russo, Activist, Writer, Journalist and a great human being.

If you haven’t done so yet, check out the documentary on HBO on the life of Vito Russo, on what we fought for, you won’t regret it called “Vito”.

ABC News: Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee  created ‘Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day’ to support the fast-food chain after a boycott ordered by gay marriage activists. The boycott began after Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy said he didn’t support gay marriage.
“The chicken chain CEO’s comments that he supports ‘the biblical definition of the family unit’ did not come as a surprise to many of the patrons celebrating Chick-fil-A apprecaiation day. Cathy’s restaurant is closed on Sundays and supports a nonprofit ministry foundation.”
